Do you feel like having sickle cell impacted your performance in school?
As I got older, and school became more stressful, I realised that stress was a big trigger of a sickle cell crisis.
During the times that I found school more stressful, I noticed a rise in the number of absences I had, I also frequently requested extensions on my deadlines and extra time during examinations to help me cope.
I honestly feel like I would have done better in school if I did not have sickle cell…how about you?

For me; Abzolutely. Thatz a No Brainerd. The ztrezz alone with ztuding, tezt, azzignmentz, and due dates will cause ztrezz and a zickle cell crime for certain.
