How often are you admitted to the hospital as a result of a sickle cell crisis
The intensity of a sickle cell crisis varies all the time and I know especially during the colder months it can be a lot more difficult to to maintain good health.
I know some experience mild crisis and are able to manage it at home, but other times this is not the case. A crisis may be so intense that the only thing that will help is further medical attention.
