Hello, my name is Basheera Foggie. I’m 29 yrs old. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I’m proud Alumni of The Ohio State University with a bachelors in English. I love reading. Writing is my passion and gift from God. I am a Youth Services Library Associate which is perfect for me. I have Sickle Cell Disease. I’ve endured chronic and acute pain everyday since the age of 11. Stress, weather, and exercise are my top 3 triggers. I’m excited to communicate with other people who have SCD.
