@virus I was told by my doctor that being anemic is a huge reason for heart palpitations. Because of this I am very sensitive to caffeine. No coffee for me.

@healed56 me also can’t drink anything with caffeine because of high rate of heart pulses, it happens to me also, usually i’m taking some of hot chocolate it’s good and light for me.

I did for years. Now that I have lived a long time I am grateful to be here. I was labeled the sickly one as the only child of 7 with SCD. I did not want the questions or fear that I sensed from my mom.
I still do not share much except when the opportunity presents itself.

When I was young my mom said I was allergic to the sun; she had no clue why I got sick. Now, as an adult I do early morning walking and later, before dark, going out. I work indoors and stay hydrated.

I work out daily. Everything is low impact and plenty water. As much as I love the heat, working out till I sweat dehydrates me very quickly. I stop before sweating. Small burst throughout the day. I manage stress very well.
