Let me introduce myself, My name is Rodney McNary. I am a long life sufferer and survivor of Sickle Cell Disease. My story is pretty lengthy of some of the things I had to go through with this disease of how it had affected me physically, emotionally, and economically. Just for a word for encouragement for those who suffers with this disease, you are definitely not alone. We all have our testimonies about this fight. Do not be ashamed or afraid or try to hide the fact that you have the disease, it’s education for those who do not understand the nature of this disease. If they do not know then they can’t understand the what you are going through. We are in this fight together desperately seeking to possible eradicate this horrible disease.
