  How do you feel about sickle cell related scars?

  When I look at my exchange transfusion scars they make me feel down and just remind me of all the hassle that I have to go through to stay well, but now I’m trying to think of them as proof, proof that I am strong enough to have sickle cell and keep living an amazing life.
