    What are the “dos and don’ts” you wish people knew when it comes to interacting with a sickle cell patient?

    There have been many times where I have had a sickle cell crisis and someone has made the comment “But you were fine yesterday”.

    I hate having to explain how unpredictable sickle cell can be and such statements always make me feel as if I am lying.
