    Do you drink alcohol?

    Alcohol can lead to serious dehydration, and dehydration is a known trigger of a sickle cell crisis. It is advised that if we drink alcohol, we should consume equal parts of water.

    Because of this, a lot of people with sickle cell avoid alcohol altogether.
