  Can food trigger a sickle cell crisis?

  This may seem like a random question but I am very intrigued. There are so many things that can trigger a sickle cell crisis, some such as stress levels which I was surprised to learn about, but I was wondering if you have ever experienced certain foods triggering a sickle cell crisis?

  Or, maybe a better question would be, do you find that certain diets keep you feeling healthier?
