Shamonica Wiggins-Mayes

Shamonica is a Dallas-based advocate, speaker, consultant, and nonprofit leader with more than a decade of experience advancing awareness, health equity, and patient empowerment. A stroke survivor with sickle cell disease, she combines her personal and professional skills to educate, inspire, and drive meaningful change. Through her writing, Shamonica hopes to encourage and connect readers while highlighting the resilience of the sickle cell community.
