Hi, your child or yourself will only feel like home if there’s family 👪 with you, if you’re in the hospital alone the nurses & some doctors, want hear you as you are trying to tell them how you the patient feel, Mary and I had senior nurses & respiratory therapist tell us don’t leave your child hear alone if you can help it, we lost Trey on July 15th 2015, at 16 years old but he was never alone, so please have someone to come with you to the hospital, it is just a house, but when family and friends are nearby it becomes more like a home, because love is there with you. May God continue to Bless everyone with SSD, people just don’t understand this disease.

That is such a beautiful answer, and I agree 100%
During the times I am admitted into the hospital, I feel safer and much happier when I am surrounded by loved ones.
I am so sorry for your loss Russell, I know that Trey was truly loved.
I am praying that God continues to comfort you and your family.
