  • What is the most difficult aspect of being a carer?

For me, it’s watching a loved one go through so much pain and trying to be strong for them. Sometimes, it is so hard to imagine the pain they are going through when all you can do is just reassure them and make sure their basic needs are met. Watching any loved one go through difficult times is hard, but as carers we must remain resilient and be as supportive as possible irrespective of the circumstance.

I have spoken to someone who shared that they find it hard to prioritise. They want to do all they can to help the person they are caring for, however, this has caused them to neglect their own personal needs at times.

This is my worries to see one of my kids suffering like me, i know it’s so hard but sure i have to be strong beside them, this is life and this is what we learn from it, we have to be strong even we are broken from inside.
