Alexandria Smith

Alexandria lives in Atlanta and was born with sickle cell disease. She is the founder of Hemoglowbin, a nonprofit using storytelling and film to raise sickle cell awareness and support warriors with emergency resources, and of GLOW Studios, a production company. She recently produced her debut documentary, “Rare: Pain Into Champagne,” and hopes her work helps others feel less alone in their journey.
