Hi @lena-robbie, I can imagine, life is definitely becoming busier!
Nice, I know a lot of people who use some of the same vitamins, it is definitely something worth considering.
Sorry to hear that you caught covid again, I hope it wasn’t too disruptive and that you’re feeling better now. Do you think you’ll be getting vaccinated anytime soon?

Thanks for your contributions guys. I recently started taking vitamin D, I’m hoping to notice an improvement sooner rather than later *fingers crossed*.

Hi @1210charles, how do you find the process of holding yourself accountable? Have you been able to stay consistent?

@virus I agree 100%! It is so important & well done for being so consistent with it 🙌🏾

@virus I agree, such places don’t have the ideal climate for people with sickle cell. I have lived in the UK my whole life and I have adjusted my behaviour to make sure I am as warm as possible during the colder seasons.
During the warmer months, do you find it harder to stay hydrated?

@virus what was the last film you watched?
-
@healed56 I love that you’ve found your balance between what your body can handle and when you might be doing too much!

@virus nice!!! What is your favourite film?

Hi David, a lot of people are in the same boat!! Sickle cell can impact every area of our lives, including our eating habits. I just wish we knew more about this earlier, that way, these habits may have been corrected more effectively instead of automatically resulting in punishments.

Thank you for your comment. It is so good to hear that it is becoming a lot more of a seamless process. Hopefully it is something that more and more people have access to in the near future!

You’re not alone Valerie!!! A lot of people with sickle cell experience it but are unaware that its sickle cell related.
I’m not 100% sure if nervousness plays a factor but I would say that you should speak with your doctor just incase they can help with it.

Yes it’s so important for the instructor to know so they don’t unintentionally overwork you.
