MemberJuly 10, 2020 at 6:09 am in reply to: While your love one is experience a crisis, at what point do you seek medical attention?With respect to my experience with SCD crisis, there are three levels of crises which can be divided into level 1 scale range of pain almost between 1-3 : level 2 between 4-6 and level three between 7-10 which is the highest level of pain, all these number is my own, so if the scale is level 1, it is very easy to manage it at home, level 2 also can be manage at home but should be more careful because level 2 if does manage in right procedure so it will reach level 3 which is the dangerous level and cant be handled at home, at the end level 3 should be manage directly in hospital and under doctor monitor because it can be more painful and dangerous, this is in my opinion and depend on my years of experience in SCD crisis.

mmm Nop, really i don’t know what is the effect of the folic acid just i know it’s kind of vitamin and it’s very important for SCD it’s help to generate the hemoglobin i think, please if you have the full details of Folic Acid and the side effect please mention it.

Thanks viviane, i know clearly that cold weather is very bad to my health, as hot summer is the best for me also i lovely enjoy the beach and the river party in summer time but in cold you just stay at home LOL.

nehhh 32 degree like spring for me hehehehe, i prefer hot because my body manage the hot better cold, cold is the main reason for CS crises for me.

yes michael it’s an amazing procedure, it comes direct from ministry of health because of COVID- 19 situation i hope this procedures stay permanently, i’m living in Saudi Arabia

you know it’s one of my best hoppies, my interest to go more deep how the ancient people was living in that time many many things i would like to know about these civilizations, when i was kidd i just dreamed to have time machine hehehehehe LOL.

In my country there is new procedure for medical insurance companies that allow to us to got our prescriptions for almost nine months forward so its enough to go only one time to your doctor to get our prescriptions during this period of time unless we have an urgent case so we have high priority to got urgent permission to reach the hospital in a little time only and this is a great step for us.

MemberJune 9, 2020 at 4:42 pm in reply to: How do you deal with a crisis when you are not in the hospital?In my case and this is happens a lot of times i have an Urgent Plan at home such of Medication like opioid ampules and saline and i can manage myself even no body with me i have an experience about saline and the medication doses, so that’s it and sure i will contact my doctor to inform him on phone and he will control my dosage, that’s all.

I just want to say i don’t have problems with vision thanks god but only i faced some problems with Dizziness, the doctor said this is because of <b>hydroxyurea medicine </b>which makes the blood flow little heavy and the oxygen some times little late to reach the brain so maybe makes this dizziness, with respect to you i think This is possible because of SCD in this case we need for experts doctors to answer this possibilities. <b> </b>
